CD News

After months of hard work, we\'re nearing a final mix and master for the CD! Keep your eyes peeled for a sample track :)

A round up for 2011...and a look at the future!

As the year comes to an end, we will take this opportunity to give a summary of the events of 2011 in camp Dama... Well it has been a year with ups and downs for Aceldama. We have played the biggest show of our lives at Download festival, and went down a storm, but lost founder member Paul who left us for personal reasons. We have found Scott, who is an enthusiastic and talented addition to the Aceldama family! We have also had trials and tribulations with the new CD, we originally hit the studio in March, but various production issues, followed by Pauls departure has constantly set it back. However we are back in the saddle now, and work on the CD is coming along nicely, and currently on track for a release mid February. A few dates are already booked, but once the CD is done, we will be looking to book shows and festivals all over the country, so get yourself onto our Twitter/Facebook sites, and keep an eye out for the show to come to you :)

First Birmingham Gig

Aceldama will play their first Birmingham gig with new drummer, Scott, on the 15th December at Scruffy Murphys. We will be supporting London based hard rock band Sondura, with added support of Brum glam rock band Silent Jack. £3 on the door, so come down and support us!

Glastonbudget

We played our first show with Scott on the 6th of November, which just happened to be the auditions for Glastonbudget 2012. We succeeded and will indeed be playing Glastonbudget for the 4th time. The dates of the festival are the jubilee weekend at the start of June. Details of when and where you can buy tickets will be available soon.

NEW DRUMMER!!

After a few months of searching, Aceldama have found their new drummer in Scott Denny. Having previously played in Adrenaline, Splintertone and numerous covers bands, Scott is an accomplished and capable drummer. Combined with his endless enthusiasm he is an excellent addition to the \'Dama family.
